Original US WW1 M1909 Bolo Fighting Knife
Original WWI U.S. Model 1909 Bolo Fighting Knife with its Springfield Armory (SA) marked scabbard, serial number 13882. This iconic bolo was issued during World War I and is a highly desirable U.S. military edged weapon.
The blade retains its original profile with honest wear consistent with age and service use. The wooden grips are solid with a small crack on one sideand well-fitting. The crossguard and overall metal surfaces show normal patina for a WWI combat knife.
The scabbard is original Springfield Armory production and still structurally intact, but shows partial leather loss—a common issue for these early leather-covered designs. The metal throat remain in place, and the scabbard still holds the bolo securely.
