ww-steel.com is a catalog of collectible and antique edged weapons — swords, daggers, bayonets and knives. We sell and ship within the United States only. We do not deal in firearms.
Nothing on this site is an offer to sell. Listings, photographs and any prices shown are an invitation to get in touch. Sending an enquiry does not create a contract and does not reserve an item. A sale happens only when we have agreed terms with you in writing and payment has cleared. Each sale is governed by the terms set out in the quotation we send you.
No page on this site takes a payment or asks for card details.
You must be at least 18, and older if the law where you live requires it. By contacting us about an item you confirm that you are not prohibited from owning it, and that you are not acquiring it for someone who is.
Federal, state, county and city laws on edged weapons differ from each other and change often. There is no general exemption for antique or collectible pieces — an item being a century old does not make it lawful for you to receive or possess. You are responsible for knowing what is lawful at your address. We cannot advise you on it.
We may decline any enquiry, or cancel any agreed sale before shipment, if we believe a sale or delivery would be unlawful, and we will refund anything you have paid.
We do not carry knives that open automatically, by inertia or by gravity, or ballistic knives.
Daggers and other double-edged blades are in this catalogue, and several states restrict them specifically. They are listed because they are collected, not because they are lawful everywhere. We check your destination before we quote, and we will tell you if a particular piece cannot be sent to you.
We describe items honestly, from research and experience, but a description is our opinion and not a warranty. Antique edged weapons are frequently repaired, refinished, reassembled from period parts, or copied outright. Items are sold as-is, with the wear their age implies. Where we warrant something specific about an item, it will say so on that item and in the quotation.
These are not toys. Blades and points cause serious injury, and antique finishes and fittings may contain lead or other hazardous materials. How you handle, display, clean and store an item is your responsibility, as is keeping it away from children and from anyone not permitted to have it.
The photographs and descriptions on this site are ours. Please do not copy or republish them, and do not use automated tools to scrape the site or to train machine-learning models on its contents.
The site is provided as-is. We do not promise that it will be available, accurate or free of errors. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for anything connected with an item is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits liability for fraud.
These terms are governed by the law of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any dispute will be heard by the state or federal courts located there. Any claim must be brought within one year of arising.
We may update these terms; the date above shows when. The version in force when we send you a quotation governs that sale.
