VERY RARE U.S. NCO Original Dress Sword w/ Scabbard – 1790–1810, Marked Blade “G G”
Up for sale is a very rare early American NCO (Non-Commissioned Officer’s) sword, dating to the Federal period (circa 1790–1810). This fine example features a blade marked “G G” and retains its original scabbard, making it a scarce survivor from the early years of the United States military.

Blade: Lightly curved blade,marked with “G G”, showing age patina and honest wear.
Hilt: Brass hilt with simple guard and knuckle bow,an elegant wooden handle with longitudinal notches for a comfortable grip.
Scabbard: Original leather scabbard with brass fittings; wear consistent with age but remarkably preserved for its period.

Condition: Very good antique condition for its age. Blade solid with visible markings; hilt complete; scabbard present with age-appropriate wear.
