This Swiss dress dagger features a straight, double-edged steel blade showing a bright polished finish. The hilt consists of a curved steel crossguard, a round pommel, and wooden grip scales, accompanied by a black-painted steel scabbard. Introduced in 1943, this dagger was the standard ceremonial sidearm for Swiss officers during the Second World War. The weapon represents Switzerland's military readiness and defensive stance during a time of global conflict. The blade ricasso is stamped with the maker mark "Elsener Schwyz Victoria".
