Original Soviet M1927 Cavalry Shashka Sword
Offered here is an original Russian Model 1927 cavalry shashka, produced prior to World War II. This pattern was used by Soviet cavalry units during the interwar period and represents a classic example of early Soviet edged weapons.
The sword features a traditionally curved single-edged blade with no hand guard, consistent with the M1927 pattern. The grip is of standard shashka form, and the sword is accompanied by its original scabbard.
The blade and fittings show honest age-related wear, consistent with an authentic military item of this period. No restoration or modern alterations are known. The piece is offered as found and as shown in the photographs.
A highly collectible and increasingly difficult-to-find pre-WWII Soviet cavalry sword, suitable for advanced collectors of Russian or military edged weapons.
