This Dutch bayonet features a straight steel blade with a T-shaped spine, showing a bright finish. The hilt consists of a steel crossguard with a muzzle ring and wooden grips, paired with a leather scabbard and integrated frog. Introduced in 1895, this bayonet was designed for the Dutch Mannlicher rifle and manufactured at the Hembrug arsenal. It served as the standard infantry bayonet for the Netherlands during the First World War era. The blade ricasso is stamped with the "Hembrug" maker mark. The wooden grips are securely fastened with rivets. The leather scabbard remains flexible, and the belt frog is firmly attached.
