German Turkish Mauser M1890 Bayonet

This export bayonet features a straight steel blade with a single fuller, showing age discoloration. The hilt is composed of a steel crossguard with a muzzle ring, hooked pommel, and grooved wooden grips, paired with a matching steel scabbard. Dating to the early 20th century, this bayonet was manufactured in Germany for export to the Ottoman Empire. Refurbished after the First World War, these weapons saw continued service in the Turkish military. The blade ricasso and scabbard throat bear matching serial numbers. The hilt locking button is functional, the wooden grip scales are tight, and the scabbard has no major dents.
