German WW2 K98 Mauser Elite Diamant Bayonet

This German bayonet features a single-edged carbon steel blade with a single fuller, retaining its dark blued finish with light wear. The hilt has dark red composite grip scales and a functional locking button. The matching steel scabbard has a single frog stud. Manufactured in 1940, this bayonet was the standard sidearm for the German Wehrmacht during the Second World War. Produced by the Elite Diamant factory, this weapon was designed for the Karabiner 98k rifle, serving infantry troops on all major fronts. The blade and scabbard throat bear matching serial numbers. The ricasso is stamped with the "Elite Diamant" maker mark and the year "40." The hilt is tight, and the scabbard shows no dents.
