This German dress bayonet features a straight steel blade showing a bright finish. The hilt consists of a plated crossguard, eagle-head pommel, and checkered black grips, paired with a black-painted steel scabbard and leather frog. Manufactured during the Second World War, this dress bayonet was produced in Solingen by Ernst Pack & Söhne. Worn by German soldiers with walking-out uniforms, it served for ceremonial display rather than active combat. The blade ricasso is stamped with the E. Pack trademark. The leather frog is intact with strong stitching, and the scabbard fits the blade snugly.
