Rare early Japanese M1889 Navy Prison Guard / Shore Patrol sword, complete with its original metal scabbard and accompanying leather tassel. These early naval sidearms were issued to shore-based security personnel, prison guards, and patrol units during the late Meiji–Taishō periods. This example shows correct early features, solid construction, and a clean, authentic presentation.
