Danish WWI Model 1867 Rolling Block Bayonet
Original Antique WWI Danish Model 1867 Bayonet for the Remington Rolling Block Rifle, manufactured by Alex Coppel, Solingen, one of the most respected German edged-weapon makers of the period.
This bayonet was produced for Danish military use and saw service from the late 19th century into the World War I era.
The blade is in very good condition, showing light, honest age-related wear with a smooth surface and attractive patina. No cracks or major defects observed. The maker’s mark is visible and consistent with period production.
The bayonet comes complete with its original leather scabbard and frog. The leather is exceptionally well preserved for its age—strong, intact, and stable—with only minor age-related character. The metal fittings are solid and properly seated.
