This aviation officer's dirk features a straight, double-edged steel blade, a gilded brass crossguard shaped like a stylized wing, and a black grip. The brass scabbard shows light wear. Issued to officers of the French Air Force (Armée de l'Air) starting in 1934, this dirk was worn as part of the formal dress uniform during the interwar and World War II years. The set is complete with its original leather-lined fabric hanger and a gold-colored textile officer's knot. The blade remains bright with only minor runner marks and no pitting.
