Offered for sale is a vintage U.S. Marine Corps Officer’s dress sword, Japan made, complete with its scabbard and officer’s sword knot.

The blade is decoratively engraved and features a personal name inscription, adding character and historical interest. Japan-made USMC swords were commonly produced in the mid–20th century, primarily for ceremonial, dress, and presentation use.

The sword shows honest age-related wear, consistent with handling and storage over time. The engraving remains visible, and the overall presentation is solid. No attempt has been made to clean, polish, or restore the sword.
