German WWII K98 Dress Bayonet by WKC

This dress bayonet features a single-edged, nickel-plated steel blade with a deep fuller, checkered black grips, and a black-painted steel scabbard. The blade retains its mirror-like finish. Worn by German soldiers with their walking-out dress uniforms during the Second World War, this non-combat bayonet was produced by the WKC company in Solingen. It was a private-purchase item. The ricasso is stamped with the WKC knight-head logo. The black-painted steel scabbard shows typical light paint chips and scratches, and the bayonet fits securely into the scabbard throat.
