Offered for sale is a rare German WWI-era Model 1898 quillback dress / parade bayonet, featuring an engraved blade and original scabbard.

This bayonet represents, privately purchased dress or parade variant, commonly worn with formal or ceremonial uniforms. The distinctive quillback spine and decorative blade engraving are characteristic of early and higher-quality presentation examples.
