German WWI M1898 Quillback Dress Bayonet

This long dress bayonet features a slender steel blade with a T-shaped spine cross-section, wooden grip scales, and a steel scabbard. The blade displays decorative scrollwork engravings. Produced during the Imperial German era, this M1898 quillback bayonet was carried by soldiers during the First World War. Engraved examples were purchased as private souvenirs of military service. The blade features decorative scrollwork and military motifs, remaining bright and well-preserved. The steel scabbard shows a dark gray patina, and the bayonet fits securely into the throat.
