This traditional combat and utility knife features the characteristic inward-curving blade forged from steel. The hilt is constructed of dark hardwood and horn elements, secured with brass fittings. It shows signs of moderate field use with surface wear and minor patination on the blade. Originally issued to Nepalese Gurkha units, this type of knife served as both a combat weapon and a utility tool. The Gurkha regiments gained renown for their service under the British Crown and in various regional conflicts throughout the twentieth century. The knife is equipped with a traditional wood-core scabbard covered in black leather. It features a brass butt-cap and a small bolster.
