This compact fighting knife features a robust, single-edged steel blade with a spear point. The hilt is fitted with contoured bone grip scales secured by brass rivets. The blade remains bright with original grind lines and minimal wear. Manufactured in Solingen after World War II, this knife was produced under the Othello brand by Anton Wingen Jr. It represents the post-war resumption of commercial knife-making in Solingen, utilizing military combat designs. The blade bears the Othello and GCCo 420 stamps on the ricasso. It is accompanied by a black leather boot sheath fitted with a spring steel pocket clip.
