Original WWII German Forestry Senior Deluxe Dagger w/ Scabbard – Bone Grip, Triple Etched Blade

Up for sale is a rare and authentic WWII German Forestry Senior Deluxe Dagger, complete with its original scabbard. These daggers were worn by high-ranking forestry officials during the Third Reich period and are considered among the most elegant edged weapons of the era.

Period: WWII (1930s–1940s)

Blade: Stunning triple-etched blade with hunting/forestry motifs (acorns, oak leaves, stag, etc.); crisp details with only light age wear.

Grip: High-quality bone (antler-style) grip, with rich natural patina, brass ferrule and pommel cap featuring ornate designs.

Scabbard: Original scabbard with fine fittings and matching patina, showing only light wear.

Length: Approx 17 1/2 overall; blade length approx 13 inches.

Condition: Excellent for its age – blade etching sharp, grip solid, fittings tight. Minor wear consistent with age and authenticity.

Collectors’ Note: This is a senior deluxe variant, far scarcer than standard forestry daggers, especially with a triple-etched blade and bone grip. A museum-quality piece, highly sought after by collectors of WWII militaria and edged weapons.
