This officer's sword features a slightly curved steel blade with etched floral motifs and fullers. The hilt is made of cast brass with a detailed lion-head pommel. The blade is bright with minor surface spots. Manufactured by Clemen & Jung in Solingen during the First World War, this sword was carried by imperial German officers. The lion-head design was reserved for artillery and cavalry officers. The pommel features red glass eyes inset into the lion's head, and the guard displays crossed cannons. The sword includes its original black painted steel scabbard.
