Up for sale is a rare and original British 1803 Pattern Infantry Officer’s Sword, complete with its etched blade and original scabbard. This elegant and historic sword is a fine example of early 19th-century British craftsmanship and military tradition.

Period: Napoleonic Wars era (circa early 1800s)
Blade: Broad single-edged etched blade featuring decorative motifs typical of the period made in Solingen, with age patina and light wear consistent with service and age.
Hilt: Beautifully crafted ivory grip, complete with a lion’s head pommel, and a crossguard with lion heads on both sides with gilding — a hallmark of prestige among infantry officers.
Scabbard: Leather scabbard with brass mounts.
