This example represents the highest quality of Solingen craftsmanship, made for senior naval officers of the German Kriegsmarine during the Second World War. Hilt: Traditional gilt brass lion-head pommel with folding guard with fouled anchor emblem

Grip: Ivory, bound with gilt twisted wire

Scabbard: leather sheath in good condition fittings brass with twin suspension rings, engraved and ornamented with naval motifs; light patina

Condition: Excellent for its age,intact fittings, minor age wear only
