An original British World War I sword bayonet, manufactured by MOLE of Birmingham, complete with its leather scabbard. The bayonet is in very good antique condition, showing multiple inspection marks on the ricasso. Issued to British troops during the First World War, this long sword bayonet was designed to be fitted to service rifles. The blade is straight and single-edged, mounted to a wood grip.
