German WW1 Imperial Hunting Knife Sharpening Wand

This antique sharpening tool features a ribbed steel rod and a natural horn handle. The steel rod shows minor wear and light surface rust, while the horn remains intact. The handle has a comfortable rounded pommel. Dating to the First World War, this tool was used by Imperial German foresters to maintain blade edges in the field. It was manufactured in Solingen for the commercial market. The horn handle features a brass collar that secures the steel rod. It is sold as an authentic antique tool.
