Original German Linder Solingen Trench Combat Knife
A vintage German combat trench knife manufactured by the renowned Linder firm in Solingen. The knife features a double-edged carbon steel blade, a polished German silver hand guard, and a smooth leather handle. It is complete with its original leather sheath. Dating to the early twentieth century, this style of boot knife was popular among German soldiers as a personal weapon during World War I and the interwar years. Solingen makers like Linder were famous for producing high-quality private-purchase fighting knives. The blade is marked with the classic Linder Solingen logo near the hilt. The leather handle scales are tightly wrapped, showing a beautiful dark brown color, and the original leather scabbard shows light surface scuffing but remains strong.
