British Pattern 1822 Infantry Officer’s Sword with Scabbard – by K & C

Offered for sale is an British Pattern 1822 infantry officer’s sword, featuring a classic brass hilt and its matching scabbard. The blade is manufactured by K & C, a well-known 19th-century Germany Solingen sword maker. This pattern remained in service throughout the Victorian era and beyond, making it a highly recognizable and collectible officer’s sword.

The sword shows honest age-related wear, including surface marks, patina to the brass hilt, and wear consistent with its period and service life. The blade remains straight and displays expected signs of age. The scabbard have brass fittings and fit tightly to the blade.

A fine example suitable for collectors of British military swords, 19th-century edged weapons, or Victorian-era militaria.  Please examine all photos carefully, as they form an important part of the description. Ask any questions before bidding or making an offer.
